StealthFyre is indeed a special stove. We originally designed the stove based off of the Dakota Fire Hole style of building a fire. And then we added modularity to it by making interlocking panels that could connect on all six axes. That alone made it special.
But because of the nature of the Dakota Fire Hole, StealthFyre was able to inherit extremely special attributes like the ability to remain smokeless when burning wood. It can also keep your fire hidden below ground by deploying it in a pit dug into the top soil.
If you deployed your StealthFyre stove in this manner, you’ll also comply with the Leave No Trace principle. This is because your fire and ashes stay below ground. When you remove your stove you can bury the embers and ashes and replace the sod divot to leave no trace of your fire.
